Brian Long is widely recognized for the dynamic energy and fresh perspective he brings to every real estate transaction. Incorporating his lifelong passion for real estate with over 20 years of industry experience, Brian draws upon his diverse skill set, storied background, and cutting-edge technology to address his clients’ needs while achieving successful results.
Born into a real estate family, Brian was exposed to unique properties and the fast-paced art-of-the-deal at an early age. Attracted to floor plans and construction drawings, he went on to become a prolific carpenter, where he gained the ability to envision a property’s potential. He later worked in the hotel and airline service industries where he learned how to stay on top of market trends while artfully satisfying the many needs of his discerning customers.
Since parlaying his skills into a real estate career in 1996, Brian has established himself as a top area REALTOR® with a vast knowledge of the Greater Boston market and an insatiable desire to help clients throughout every phase of their real estate lifecycle, be they buyers, sellers, investors or developers.
Brian’s guiding principles are to provide a high level of personalized attention to detail, consistently educate on market conditions, and leave no stone unturned. By adhering to these principles, Brian enthusiastically presents his clients with realistic market expectations and the steps needed to actualize positive results.
His proactive approach has earned him a very loyal and expanding client base, as well as the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle Award and the President’s Elite Club, which recognizes the top 2% of affiliated associates internationally.
A Metro Boston native, Brian knows just about every neighborhood and has called Somerville home since 2010. As a lung transplant recipient, he is a proud supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Association and was the Massachusetts chapter’s first poster child in 1979. Through the years, Brian was heavily involved in research studies to help find a cure for CF. He also supports the Guidance Center of Cambridge and Toys for Joys. With his boundless energy and joie de vivre, even in his spare time Brian can’t sit for too long; like his passion for the art-of-the-deal, he loves the thrill of finding hard-to-refuse travel bargains and globetrotting.
